Below are the 5 ideal tourist places in Hyderabad that will satisfy your love for travelling. Golconda Fort:The magnificent monument- Golconda Fort lies on the western outskirt of Hyderabad city. It is popularly termed as “Golla Konda” in Telugu or as “Shepherd's Hill”. Originally the fort was constructed during the reign of Yadava dynasty. Later it fell into the hands of many dynasties like Kakatiya, and Bahmani. Further, it was in control of Qutb Shahis and later in the hands of Mughal Dynasty. The Golconda Fort was also home to the world's best diamonds like 'Kohinoor', 'Hope' and the 'Orloff' Diamond. Each and every nook and corner of this magnificent monument echoes its rich heritage and its unparalleled history. Though it was established in the year 1950, it was inaugurated in the year 1963. The park consists of Royal Bengal Tiger, lion, white tiger, orangutan, rhinoceros and many more. The species of reptiles that can be found in the park are giant tortoises, star tortoises, and Indian cobra. Tourist attraction of the park are children's trains, Natural History Museum, elephant rides and the most famous- lion safari.Birla Mandir:In the southern end of Hussain Sagar- Birla Mandir is located at the top of the hill. The mesmerizing temple was constructed using stunning white marbles. The beautiful temple gives a magnificent view of the city and the lake.
